Just in time for back-to-school is Teacher’s Day in India. This day celebrates the life and birthday of Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a beloved teacher and second President of India (1962-1967). Radhakrishnan was one of the first scholars to teach India’s religious and philosophical literature to English speaking people. He died in 1975.
